Peanut Butter Jelly Time

After seeing the computer works animation, I was reminded of a video of a dancing banana that Billy use to love watching at my parents house. It drove them nuts.

It even has it’s own Wikipedia entry if you are interested in it’s history.

Computer Internals

Check out this interesting animation of how a computer works. Pretty neat.

Oh Come All Ye Geekful

Check out this video of an engineer who synced the flashing of the Christmas lights on his house to a score by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This is way too cool!

The Video

An article on Snopes was posted discussing the authenticity.

The Light Before Christmas

Rootkit from Sony Music CDs

I won’t go into the details here, but simply say be very cautious before playing a CD from Sony/BMG in your PC. The articles below provide alot of details.

UPDATE:

Top Dog

I remember visiting my great grandparents house when I was a kid. My great grandfather had a library that was packed with books. Everytime we’d visit, I’d pull down one book called “Top Dog” by Norman Thelwell. After he passed away, I ended up with the book. The other night Billy and I pulled it out to read it and all the memories of sitting in my great grandfather’s chair reading the book came flooding back.

Here are a couple of samples. The book is available at Amazon.
