I really loved this plugin! I customized it for my own needs, but now, it doesn't work anymore :(
I tested it on multiple servers because i thought it was a GD library or imagemagic problem..

The problem is, it uploads great, but it does not create the thumbnail (in the folder 'i').. Is there somebody who likes to help or has the same problem? Running Wordpress 2.8

Bill, You should feel proud. Great job of documenting your project. Don't beat yourself up over the cost overruns 5% and you saved 15K.

I'm going to build my own house this time and was looking at Attic trusses and the cost to add the addtion room over the garage.

Bill-
Great job documenting this project. I've found this post to be extremely helpfull in planning my future garage build. Quick question now that you've had some time to enjoy the second floor... Are you glad you went with the 14" I joists? No bouncyness or sagging issues at that span? You did use the 14" AJS 20 MSR Joists as mentioned in your drawings, correct? They appear a little smaller in the photos. That could always be the camera too. Thanks!!

In my one website i have same problem: “Unable to create directory /home/username/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

These type of error you can solve by below steps as per my experience

- First pass 777 permission to WP-content & also too upload folder and its sub folder
- Then moves to your admin section where you can find setting option, in this section check “Miscellaneous’ for uploading path ( This is the main problem please check it again)
- After this please create folder which are mention in your error. as per above mention error i have to create “2009? and also a subfolder with name “01?
- Now try to upload image…

Best Luck!!

Hi Bill,
I am really impressed with the garage along with the journal, photos and the budget / actual cost details. I am wondering of the actual cost - how it broke out in regards to material vs labor. My husband is considering attempting the labor due to his "handyman career", although he has never built from scratch. Thank you for sharing!

Does anyone have information as to where/when the Archer name was added to the descendents of Pocahontas? I am working on a picture and genealogy album for my daughter. I certainly would appreciate any help given.

Sincerely,

Bill -

Amazing photos and documentation of your project. It has definitely helped this "semi-knowledgable homeowner" decide to take on a very similar 20x22 project!

My biggest concern and source of fear so far is what to do about liability and workers comp in order to protect myself in the event that someone gets hurt (or worse). I plan to hire various licensed/insured subs, but I'll also have family, friends, and likely a few uninsured/currently-unemployed laborers helping me out too. Can you talk a little about how you dealt with this aspect of your project?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Sam,

A couple of things.

First, the reason I wasn't seeing it was that it doesn't show up in Firefox (at least on my PC). It *does* show up in IE.

Second, looking at the src of your page, the href is being left blank. This is filled by the following call:

<code>
$link = get_permalink($pod->photo->postId);
</code>

For some reason on your installation, the call to get_permalink is not returning anything.

Third, as to the text being to the right of the image instead of below, I suspect that is a CSS issue with your href or image tags or the adsense class.
