Since the subject of Pocahontas came up in the last post, I thought I’d document here some information I was recently given. I’ve known since I was a child that my great grandfather (Charles Lunsford, Jr., where Martin gets his first name) was big into tracing our lineage and had documented that we are direct descendants of Pocahontas, but until recently, I hadn’t seen it.
