Today I finally took the plunge and upgraded to Wordpress 2.1. This was a pretty significant upgrade but actually went well. I had to make some minor tweaks but nothing significant. Hopefully there will be a performance improvement. Let me know if you experience any problems.

- 8/27/2010 2:09am: Bill is taking the boys to Water Country tomorrow for the day. I can't believe I've never been there.
- 8/23/2010 12:59am: Bill is glad that the next phase is done. We now have *everything* moved out of the house and into the garages. Now to start the reconstruction. Not the way I'd recommend you initiate remodeling, but it certainly is an effective one.
- 8/16/2010 11:24am: Bill is meeting with the contractor at the house this morning to review plumbing, electrical, and to check the downstairs HVAC. Then off to look at granite samples for the counter.
- 8/15/2010 1:42pm: Bill is almost done with this phase of "Flood of 2010". Two more room to empty out then the house is completely empty. Hopefully reconstruction will start this week.

I upgraded my blog last weekend, so far so good, with one minor issue. The header size in the CPL admin screens is quite large, and some words overlap each other. I also use a Subscribe Me plugin and noticed the header size increased slightly there as well, but not as much as with CPL. So far, all other headers look OK.

Quick question, how did you get sub categories happening like I see under your ‘Family’ links category?

I just created the Family category, then created the other categories with the Family category as the parent in the Manage -> Categories page in admin.
